The comprehensive aim of environmental education is to facilitate the development of environmentally conscious behavior and lifestyle among students so that the rising generation would be capable of preventing the deepening environmental crisis, promoting the survival of nature, and the sustainable development of societies.

Our goal also includes the cultivation of scientific knowledge, the development of environmentally conscious behavior, fostering love and respect for the beauty of nature and the values of the man-made environment, nurturing respect for harmonious ways of coexistence between humans and nature, and seeking and evaluating solutions in this regard.

For this reason, we deemed it important to become members of the Hungarian Eco-School Network and to carry out our developmental activities in accordance with its spirit.

Our application was accepted by the committee on March 18, 2022. We are entitled to use the title from September 1, 2022, to August 31, 2025.
